Silly Daddy is a Xeric Grant recipient. I'll admit, I haven't read much of it because when I saw it at comics shops years ago, I thought-- "Interesting, but this guy can't draw." Nowadays I'm more open to different styles rather than just the muscle bound superheros or the bright eyed manga look. The style goes with the story. Now, its basically a blog, which is great because making mini comics and distributing them is a lot of work and Joe Chiappetta (I always think of Chia Pets with his name) has three kids. It's one of those comics that has a lot of heart. You can see how much this man loves his family. And making comics and kids so you don't have to is a good service to mankind.

Although, I'll stick with making comics. Not sure about making kids. (If the kid part never happens, I'll settle for a puppy.)
