Pretentious Lightbulb Men: Love & Growth

Back when I went to art school, I really had very little time to draw for myself. I also lived with my parents, couldn't drive, no money, and of course, no girlfriend. For everyone who went to college with me, I'm sure these will bring you back a bit.

This was also an exercise in minimalism (and art therapy) where I tried to see how much I could express with very little. These two were done between July and September 2000.
And yes, college friends, I plan to be posting all your old favorites every now and then-- well, at least the ones that aren't too sad.
On a side note, my major influences for these came from Jhonen Vasquez and Don Hertzfeldt
