So I started working on this the day after I heard of Kim Jung-gi’s passing. The artwork is raw and rushed. I feel like I have to apologize for it. I know I can do better. But I gave myself a deadline: 40 days after he left us. It’s significant in Filipino/Catholic culture. The soul still lingers on Earth and leave for the afterlife on the 40th day. It was just my way of mourning.

So far I’ve gotten praise from strangers and friends. But I wish this comic didn’t exist. That would mean KJG would still be around.
