There are no “good” or “bad” cards. Buuuut….

In any reading, The Tower is something you’d like to see appear in the past. On the Khabbalistic Tree of Life, it’s associated with the path between Hod and Netzach. Or between Mercury (thinking. intelligence) and Venus (feeling, emotion).

For example, over the years you built a relationship. It’s a very passionate one. You’ve built this tower on the foundation of emotion. Even though your boyfriend is exciting and sexy, he keeps borrowing money from you, he’s cheated on you once, his career as a Social Media Influencer is going nowhere, and over the years, you realize that want a baby but you can’t imagine him being a father.

Or another example: You have a girlfriend. She is everything you could ask for. She’s got a bachelor’s degree, she speaks the same foreign language as your mother, you have a lot in common and you get along fine… but something’s missing. Even though this relationship works on paper, you could never really tell her “I love you.” It just doesn’t feel right.

This year, 2020 is full of Towers. From my understanding of astrology, Pluto and Saturn are conjunct and we tend to see that in worldwide crises. Pluto and Saturn were conjunct at the beginning of WWI and the end of WWII (remember, it ended with a literal bang). The United States of America is also going through its Pluto Returns. It’s been about one Plutonian Year since Pluto was in that part of the sky. Pluto is the God of the Underworld. We are starting to see a lot of hidden things, hidden problems, in this country. A lot of things built on those faulty foundations will come crashing down. And it won’t stop until the beginning of 2025.

I’m not saying that the sky is falling. And I don’t believe the Planets control our destiny, but rather, they’re more like a clock to tell us when what sort of karmic weather is coming our way.  But we’re all going to have to deal with the karma of the World and, for US citizens, this country. And hopefully, it’ll make us better people. We’ll all look back and understand our mistakes. And the World will go on.
